Siemens is a widely known technology company that makes all sorts of things, starting from cellphones to home appliances to enterprise solutions for big problems that a company might face; they have, and most importantly, they do it all. The company employs well over 350,000 people to this day, which speaks volumes about its huge size. Siemens is only second to conglomerates such as Samsung, Apple, Bosch and other technology makers. What Siemens is best at is solving problems: they have some of the best engineering teams in the whole world and they seem to be able to drive innovation in quick and efficient ways, with environmentally friendly processes and fair prices for all to afford their services.
The history of the company dates back 170 years, having been founded in 1847. That is a huge amount of time to be working on your own company and this wouldn't have been possible if the industrial revolution wouldn't have happened. The German company gathered so much information about cutting-edge technologies in those times, that they've been able to cut straight through huge problematic situations such as WWI and WWII, with a few exceptions. Although the company has existed for so long, they've never been doing any better. Their stock is up, their overall income is up and, apparently, the employees are happier than ever! What a great way to lead such a huge conglomerate.
