Main duties and responsibilities:

Understanding our commercial goals and designing a content strategy to achieve those goals.

Helping to craft our online personality and brand.

Working with our SEO & PPC agency to coordinate digital marketing plan.

Writing blogs, articles, guides, web page content, brochure content.

Designing and implementing social media campaigns

Researching industry trends and competitor activities.

Working on a number of web related activities

Designing and implementing online surveys

Learning about all the brands we work with and leveraging off their online assets

Strategically develop and create compelling content (Blogs, Brochures, Newsletters, Videos, Social Media)

Manage and implement the content calender

About YOU:

Link-bait makes you cringe and traditional infographics bore you! You want to produce world-leading content marketing campaigns with insight and creativity. You have proven experience in contemporary content marketing concepts and methodologies. With a passion for data-driven content marketing, you're a proactive results-driven and results-focused leader.

You might have a degree in media or communications (or you might not!) and a few years of experience in a role that grows website traffic through content marketing.

You have an entrepreneurial mindset and are constantly looking for opportunities to grow websites and you love to hustle to hit growth targets and projections. You enjoy the challenge of going up against tough competition and winning. Complacency isn't a word in your dictionary; you are a proactive go-getter and you just don't understand why things can't get done right now!

You are skilled in content marketing and content management, and consider yourself to have strong search engine optimisation skills. You work hard and know what you need to do to achieve individual and company goals.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

EDUCATIONAL:

Essential:

Numerate and literate with experience of Microsoft Office or similar and comfortable working with computers. Creative writing or similar formal education

WORK EXPERIENCE:

Essential:

Experience writing for SEO.

Experience working in a digital marketing environment

Experience working on blogs

Experience working with social media platforms including Facebook, Pinterest, Instagram & Twitter University degree or similar education

2 to 5 years in a content marketing role

Good understanding of contemporary content marketing and link acquisition

Organised with excellent time management and prioritisation skills

Confident and excellent communicator with a keen attention to detail

PERSONAL QUALIFICATIONS:

Lead on initiatives, being committed to the role and delivering on objectives/deadlines

Positive attitude and friendly outlook

Able to work under pressure, prioritising to meet deadlines, juggling busy workload and multi-tasking

High attention to detail

Self-motivated, managing own time and working alone where necessary as well as part of a team – not requiring constant direction. Forward thinking, proactive and creative Able to quickly pick up new processes and run with them.
