Sovet Italia was founded in the 1980s by six glass craftsmen who sought to explore the role of this material in modern furniture. By the early 2000s the company had started working with designers from across the globe and today boasts an impressive team of renowned designers.

Their diverse list of creative workers includes: Lievore Altherr Molina, Ichiro Iwasaki, Altherr Desile Park, Matthias Demacker, Studio Irvine and Gianluigi Landoni. These individuals consistently devise innovative ways of addressing the customers’ demands in light of changing trends.

The Totem table collection features smooth oval and round table tops that can be customized in wood, glass, Materia, or ceramic in different colors. The base is equally smooth and rounded and you can choose to have two bases with your table as well. The curvy nature of this collection and the bare simplicity of the materials enhances its vogue appeal that will become a fashion statement for your living space.

The Gocce Di Rugiada by Gianluigi Landoni features mirrors with curved, organic shapes that resemble water droplets suspended on glass. The 360-degree rotating back panel allows you to twist the mirror any way you want and thus play with the wall space. You can also group the mirrors in different sizes and changing positions to create a personalised art piece.

Another one of Landoni’s designs is the Zeta magazine rack and coffee table. It’s a single sheet of glass smoothly bending at different angles to form a zig-zag structure which can be used to store magazines at the bottom and as a table top above.

The Cadira chairs by Studio Sovet have a curved, upholstered seat that exudes comfort. The simple seat rests atop dowel legs available in different forms and materials. Materials such as velvet, leather, faux leather and Kvadrat fabric can be altered according to your preferences.

Magda sideboards are as loved for their simplicity as they are for their various customisations. It’s an elongated cuboid embellished with a subtle brass profile. You can choose from a variety of finishes and materials; be it a smooth mirror or marbled and wood-grained ceramics – both are available in multiple colours. The suspendable sideboards can also be varied. Its sturdy appearance is in part due to the metal frame that supports the structure on the inside. These days, durability is more than just practicality – it’s an entire aesthetic. The Magda shelves have a steel structure covered with ceramic, available in different finishes. They also come with an LED option which offers a perfectly diffused lighting that is ideal for creating a cosy environment.

The Slim console stays true to the contemporary style that is the frontrunner for this brand’s fame. It has a slim slab of tabletop which is just perfect for arranging décor or everyday items in your hallways. The gentle curves and bevelling are the winning design elements which make this console stand out. Like all Sovet Italia products, you have so many options to choose from including opting for the modish two legs or the steady four aluminium legs in polished chrome or lacquered finish. The top can also be designed in a tempered lacquered, frosted lacquered glass, materia, wood and ceramic, all available in various colours. The Slim coffee table features the same smooth top on slim and simplified legs. You can have its size, shape and finishes adjusted according to your specific taste. It comes in variations of Slim Extensible, Slim Office, Slim Rectangular and Slim Square.

The Nest display cabinets are perfect for showcasing your prized items with the attention and stability they deserve. The floor version features a long base of veneered oak available in different finishes and colours with an extra light glass cubicle on top. The functional base can also be opened up to store items that you use on a daily basis. Nest Wall version features the same aesthetics minus the storage options.

The Regolo table series features a beautiful juxtaposition of lines with curves, glass with wood, and transparency with opaqueness. It comes in many variations. The Regolo Double Base has two black glass side elements attached to the wooden base below the glass top. The Regolo Round is a coffee table with black glass bent along the sides of the round tabletop to function as its legs. The Regolo triangular coffee table has a triangular top and can be placed in combinations to create an abstract masterpiece. The Regolo Square has cubic forms available in two different combinations; the glass top version has a base of smoked glass with a wooden element. While the wooden top version has a base of smoked glass with a black glass element.

The Deod tables are outstanding because of their geometrically shaped metal bases that add character and elegance. The Deod coffee table has one metal base with a round top whereas the dining table has an oblong top sitting on two bases. The bases can be altered to a variety of finishes such as burnished metal, embossed white, embossed grey, etc. The tabletops can be picked in any colour from the various bronzed, material, extra light, frosted, net or liquid glass. Other alternatives include oak and walnut wood, and a wide selection of ceramics.
