Zehnder Group initially started as a motorcycle production company in 1895 but eventually gave up on that to pursue the ambitious goal of becoming a leading radiator production company. Continuous innovation and constant technology advancements are the core ideals that Zehnder focuses on. In fact, their company has the leading market position when it comes to the most efficient radiators available on the market today, other than offering great-looking designs. New products are developed every year within the company and the R&D department is always hard at work to find out new and more capable ways of achieving greater results. The products have a life of several decades and they're made with recyclable materials, so that they are easy to dispose after such a long time of use.
The company was founded by Jakob Zehnder in Gränichen, Switzerland. His brother, Robert Zehnder, eventually invented what is now called a "tubular radiator" in 1930, changing the company forever. This invention (which is still used to this day) was a ground-breaker. Suddenly radiators didn't have to be ugly and inefficient anymore; they could be used as real design aspects for the house and also provided people with the warmth they needed.
