Charlotte Save: Designing for Real Life, Not the Fantasy

Charlotte Save founded her London studio on a conviction that cuts through the noise of trends and Pinterest boards: a home should be designed for how you actually live, not for the version of yourself you imagine on your best day. That clarity of thinking shapes everything she does - from the first conversation with a client to the last material specification.

Her work draws on Scandinavian principles of restraint and spatial clarity, but it is never cold. Charlotte layers texture, warmth and considered detail into interiors that feel grounded and personal.

She reads architecture before she reads a brief - understanding light, proportion and the character of a building as the framework within which a client's personality can take shape. The result is interiors that stand the test of time - not because they play it safe, but because every decision is made with longevity in mind. A well-chosen floor, a properly constructed sofa, a palette that responds to the building's light: these are the choices that make a home feel right in ten years as much as on the day it is completed.

On Sourcing Luxury Furniture in London

Charlotte Save

"I think preparation is key for me... what is it actually that I'm sourcing today?... taking that room and, okay, what am I sourcing for today?... But also letting yourself be drawn by inspiration by other things that you see... every time I'm going to kind of furniture showrooms or fabric showrooms or whatever it is, I have, I'm prepared, I have what I'm looking for. But equally, I always end up with something I wasn't looking for."
