All our rugs are 100% hand-tufted or hand-knotted, making them high-end, appealing and superior in quality than most of their counterparts. Partnering with master weavers from around the globe, we ensure that each piece is made expertly, guaranteeing exquisite detailing and a sense of perfection in every knot.
If you’re wondering about the difference, hand-tufted rugs are made by punching strands of wool into a stretched canvas using a tufting tool, gradually building up the pile in accordance with the pattern.
Although comparatively faster than hand-knotting, this technique still requires exceptional skills - especially when you want to replicate a design. So either way, you get something unique and beautifully crafted.
Choosing between the two depends on your personal preferences and the complexity of your design. But no matter your decision, you’ll find that all our rugs feature the finest quality materials, craftsmanship and durability - so they can continue to complement your luxury interiors for decades.
Aim for something durable made from wool, jute or modern synthetic fibres that have been treated to resist spills and stains. This will ensure that it is both easy to maintain and will last for decades.
Ideally, your rug should extend beyond the dimensions of your sofa on both sides by around 15 cm, allowing you to either rest all your furniture on it or at least the front legs of each surrounding piece.
