Main duties and responsibilities:

  • Meeting clients in the showroom, online and on site
  • Performing site visits throughout the sales cycle - it is essential that you know how to quickly and accurately measure a space
  • Drawing and pricing up wardrobes, wall units, libraries.
  • Working with the sales team to design and sell bedrooms and wardrobes using AutoCAD and (other supplier software)
  • Learning our product range of sofas, bedrooms, dining, lighting, accessories
  • Doing layouts and mood boards for the sales team to pitch
  • Producing accurate product and project pricing using the technical catalogues provided - attention to detail is a must
  • Supporting the sales team to close sales and projects
  • Managing drawings and administration between the sales team, the customer and the manufacturer
  • Contributing to the selection of new products for the showroom and showroom upkeep.
  • Attending various training courses in the UK, Italy & Germany.
  • Offering clients an exceptional experience through superior product knowledge and customer service, before, during and after the sale.
  • Being a positive, co-operative and proactive member of the team and contributing ideas and experiences towards the continuous growth and improvement of our brand and values.

This Job Description is intended to provide a broad outline of the main responsibilities only. The post holder will need to be flexible in developing the role and in initial and on-going discussions with the designated manager(s).

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

EDUCATIONAL

Essential:

  • Numerate and literate with experience of Microsoft Office or similar and comfortable working with computers.
  • Highly experienced and quick with AutoCAD or similar software.
  • Design orientated degree or qualification.

WORK EXPERIENCE:

Essential:

  • 5 years Prior full time AutoCAD experience
  • Experience working in a target-based environment.
  • Experience working with high quality products

Desirable:

  • Selling European kitchen, bedrooms and appliance brands
  • Experience designing complete residential interiors

SPECIFIC SKILLS:

  • Effective communication & drawing skills (verbal and written)
  • Good telephone manner

PERSONAL QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Lead on initiatives, being committed to the role and delivering on objectives/deadlines
  • Positive attitude and friendly outlook
  • Able to work under pressure, prioritising to meet deadlines, juggling busy workload and multi-tasking
  • High attention to detail
  • Self-motivated, managing own time and working alone where necessary as well as part of a team – not requiring constant direction.
  • Forward thinking, proactive and creative
  • Able to quickly pick up new processes and run with them.
