Basic Silver is another version of the Basic Copper and Basic Gold On the backside of a high quality glass plate, gold or silver leafs are manually applied leaf by leaf in order to create the impression of a frame. On the front side of that same plate, a mirror with nicely finished edges is glued and in this way a decorative mirror in its basic form comes into being (hence the name of the mirror, Basic) but with a Deknudt Mirrors twist. Silver was selected as a decoration because it is very trendy at the moment and it gives the cold glass a certain warmth and attitude, which makes it suitable for both a contemporary or a more classical interior.
