In just over two years, she has quickly established herself as a rising star in the industry, having contributed to high-profile projects such as the Iraqi Safe House, and the exploration of socio-economic issues through her ongoing research project "Another Empty House."
Shahnaz's design philosophy combines artistic vision with a deep understanding of architectural functionality. Her experience ranges from residential to institutional projects, where she’s demonstrated her ability to lead design teams, manage client relationships, and execute designs from concept through to construction. Known for her proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and Adobe Suite, she excels at translating abstract ideas into tangible, beautiful designs that address both form and function.
Her research on the effects of modernisation on architecture, particularly in her work documenting vacant homes in Kerala, reflects her dedication to understanding the broader cultural and social context of architecture.
